Bill Granda

Bill Granda is Southwest US Regional Director for Paradigm Associates LLC. He coaches and advises businesses and individuals to improve their ability to overcome obstacles and get results. He engages with key players and teams, particularly those in or approaching important transitions, to develop and execute practical business and transition strategies. Clients have found him especially helpful when they recognize they have to do something different, but don't know exactly what that is, or they know what is needed but aren't sure how to best get it done.

Many of his clients are closely-held and family businesses, non-profits, and professional firm owners who put a premium on professional competence and really helping their clients. Outcomes include a $100K increase in monthly profit in 90 days for a healthcare practice, 25% enrollment increase for a pre-school organization, and a consulting firm hitting their 3 year revenue goal 2 years ahead of time. Two of his clients became finalists for Family Business of the Year awarded by the Rothman Institute of Entrepreneurial Studies at Fairleigh Dickinson University.

Joining Paradigm Associates in 1991, Bill brought 20 years experience in advertising and consulting firms, including smaller firms and one of the top ad agencies in the world, McCann-Erickson. Bill was a key player in managing transitions, at one stretch managing 8 major organizational changes in 6 years. His experiences included acquisition integration, starting up multi-location operations, leadership successions, workouts, consolidating and closing operations. Through all, he honed his strength in getting high levels of performance and collaboration in dynamic and challenging situations.

Bill frequently speaks at national, regional, as well as local conferences and business events and has appeared on TV and radio on topics important to business and non-profit executives. He has also contributed to strategic thinking, executive leadership, and time management program materials. Bill was a driving force for developing and facilitating a broad-based municipal strategic planning process involving over 500 citizens and government officials. It became a cover story for NJ League of Municipalities magazine. He currently co-authors the blog Family Business Insight and Out with Las Vegas CPA firm Fair, Anderson, and Langerman.

Bill is President and board member of the Turnaround Management Association's Nevada chapter. He's also active in both the Las Vegas and North Las Vegas Chambers of Commerce. Bill has been an Officer, Board member, chaired various high profile committees, and currently serves on the Small Business Advisory Board. Bill also chaired the Change Management Committee of the Southern Nevada Medical Industry Coalition's Electronic Health Records initiative. And during a period of leadership transition he served as Interim Executive Director of the Las Vegas Philharmonic.

He earned his MBA from Rutgers, concentrating in Accounting and Management Information Systems, and a BA in Psychology from Albright College.

Bill lives with his wife in Las Vegas. When not working, he enjoys hiking, backpacking, and landscape photography. While his three sons were growing up, he served as a Boy Scout troop leader, Troop Committee Chair, Nominations and Camping Committee Chairs at the District level, and Camping Committee Chair at the Council level where he helped strengthen wilderness adventure programs. He's former President of Pictorial Photographers of America, a camera club approaching its 100th anniversary. Bill's photos have been exhibited in individual and group shows in New York City and published in national and international photography magazines.
